What are Sleep mode and Theatre mode?
Sleep mode helps reduce interruptions before or during sleep. On supported Galaxy Watch models, it can keep alarms available while muting other notifications.
Theatre mode helps reduce distractions in quiet places by adjusting notification alerts, sound volume, screen brightness, and selected actions.
Choose the mode that best matches your situation before turning it on from Settings, the Quick panel, or your connected phone.
How to set Sleep mode on your Galaxy Watch
You can set Sleep mode from Settings or the Quick panel on your Galaxy Watch.
How to set Sleep mode from Settings
Follow the steps below to turn on Sleep mode from the watch settings.
01. Swipe up from the watch home screen to open the apps screen.
02. Tap Settings.
03. Select Modes and Routines.
04. Select Sleep.
05. Tap Turn on.
06. Check that Sleep mode is turned on.
07. Set the Duration if the options appear.
How to set Sleep mode from the Quick panel
Follow the steps below to turn on Sleep mode from the Quick panel.
01. Swipe down from the top of the watch screen to open the Quick panel.
02. Tap the Modes icon.
03. Select Sleep.
04. Check that Sleep mode is turned on.
How to set Theatre mode on your Galaxy Watch
You can set Theatre mode from the connected phone, Settings, or the Quick panel. Before using Theatre mode, you may need to set details such as the duration, Do not disturb, and actions to run in Theatre mode.
1. From the Wearable app
Before setting Theatre mode on your watch, set the Theatre mode details from the connected phone. Follow the steps below to set Theatre mode duration, Do not disturb, and actions.
01. Swipe up from the watch home screen to open the apps screen.
02. Tap Settings.
03. Select Modes and Routines.
04. Select Theatre.
05. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue the setup on your connected phone.
06. On your connected phone, tap the Get started button.
07. Set how long Theatre mode should stay on.
08. Choose whether to use Do not disturb.
09. Select the actions to run in Theatre mode.
10. Review the settings, then complete the setup.

Follow the steps below to turn on Theatre mode from the watch settings.
01. Swipe up from the watch home screen to open the apps screen.
02. Tap Settings.
03. Select Modes and Routines.
04. Select Theatre.
05. Tap Turn on.
